Hollow Despair – The Path (Vertical Slice)

“The house doesn’t just creak… it remembers.”

You play a father returning to an abandoned mansion after years away, chasing the faint echoes of a daughter’s voice that should be long gone.

Built in Unity HDRP, Hollow Despair – The Path explores how light, silence, and memory intertwine to create fear that lingers after the screen fades to black.

Features

  • Dynamic lighting and power outage events that shift the world in real time

  • Persistent world logic – rooms remember what you’ve done

  • Subtle, reactive hauntings guided by your presence

  • Voice-over narrative cues that blur guilt and memory

  • Custom dissolve shaders and physics-driven ambiance
